The craft
A single Kanjivaram takes a weaving family up to twenty days on the pit loom. We visit the clusters ourselves, choose the palettes with them, and pay before the saree ever reaches a customer. Nothing here is printed to look handwoven - it simply is.
Every drape arrives with the weaver's name, the loom it came off, and how to care for it through Indian summers and monsoons.

The collection
8 handloom drapes, searchable by fabric, colour and price - each one photographed exactly as it falls.

Nool by Salika is the shared dream of sisters Salini and Sarika. Growing up, every festival, wedding and family gathering meant saree shopping together — hunting for the perfect drape, tracing a border, falling for a weave. That love turned into a quiet obsession: exploring the handloom diversity of India, from the pit looms of Kanchipuram to the gullies of Varanasi and the delicate chanderi clusters of Madhya Pradesh.
They started Nool to bring that joy to other saree lovers — sourcing directly from weaving families, paying fairly, and sharing each saree's story as honestly as it is woven. Every piece in the studio is chosen thread by thread, with the same excitement they felt as two sisters discovering India's crafts, one state at a time.
